この頃になると、おもちゃ用にブリキ板が出回るようになり、ペンギンの足の部分は印刷されている。クチバシを動かしながら、手をパタパタさせて歩く姿は何か話しかけてくるような動きである。（通産大臣賞を受賞）
Walking-Penguin
★The Minister of International Trade and Industry prize is won.★
In 1951(Showa 26), tin sheet come to appear on the market in toys. Penguin’s body is covered with cloth, but beak and legs are printed. The walking way of this penguin is so cute, that Penguin moves hands pitter-patter, and moves beak open and close. It looks like penguin is talking to me.
